It was dark, it was dreary and all through the… ok I give up, I am not much of a poet!
It has been a bit gross out today and it turns out it was a great day to have the library open at lunchtime. We had lots of girls (and one boy!) show up to have a quiet read. Some borrowed books, some cuddled up in corners with their finds. We even ended up with Lily reading a book to everyone. It was lovely.
If your child ever feels like they need a place to go on a Thursday at lunch (week 2), wants to swap their library books early, or wants extra help finding a book to suit them – tell them come on down. The more the merrier.
