One of the new Lamont books we received recently was called Spot and Stripe. A lovely story of two friends who had noticed several things about themselves that made them different. After several attempts to make themselves more similar, they realised that being different was just fine! After reading the book we had a chat about some things about them that might be different from their friends and then got them to draw a picture about it. I then walked around and wrote down what each child told me about their drawing. The result was a great example of how kids just like to be friends with people, very little concern is given to differences! See below all of their great work.
