OK, today is one of those days that as a teacher I need to admit I need to reassess my methods and try again. We started recording the Year 4 Video Book reports. The students were all working really hard and were determined to get their video recorded. We had two groups who successfully completed them (YAY), but it turns out that due to using my iPad as the recording device, the sound quality is quite poor… we shall persevere and try again, but it means some of the children are going to have to do theirs again next week.
We will be using an awesome gadget called a SWIVL which we have at senior campus which has a microphone included. This will allow us to capture quality video and sound so that we can upload videos to the blog for parental and student enjoyment! Watch this space and don’t give up on us, because we haven’t given up on us.
